Advanced Materials & Optoelectronic Devices
Dr. Matthias J. Grotevent
I am passionate about applied research addressing global challenges (e.g., climate change) for a sustainable future. Specifically, I am interested in developing optoelectronic materials such as colloidal semiconductor nanoparticles (quantum dots) and charge transport materials. My interests extend to integrating such materials into devices, including infrared photodetectors, miniaturized spectrometers, and perovskite solar cells.
Research Interests
Research Interest I
Advanced Materials, e.g. colloidal quantum dots, nanoparticles, organic and inorganic charge transport layers.
Research Interest II
Subwavelength-sized infrared detectors & miniaturized optical spectrometers.
Research Interest III
Perovskite solar cells with high efficiency and long durability for nip-device architecture.
